I’m Kevin Smith – a proud father, personal trainer, mental health advocate, and yes… I play Santa Claus.
My journey as Santa began in 2020, during the first year of COVID. My little girl was heartbroken when she realized she might not get a visit from Santa that year. So, I decided to become Santa – just for her. Because even Santa had to social distance, I made our visit happen from the balcony, bundled up outside while she watched in awe, never realizing it was her Dad behind the beard.
That small, magical moment sparked something bigger. A few neighbours caught on, word spread, and from there it grew into something truly special.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of bringing Santa to life at events in Calgary, Cochrane, Canmore, and Banff – and this year, I’m excited to once again offer these services to you.

For anyone thinking about doing this…don’t think. DO IT! Santa (Kevin) is honestly one of the best Santas I have ever seem/met. He is great with kids of all ages even little ones. We were able to book a time last year for my little one and our family friends’ kids. We did this instead of going to the mall and honestly, I will never go back. And the bigger kids loved it. They asked us after if that was the real Santa cause that was better the ones they met in the mall. There’s nothing wrong with a mall Santa, but you have limited time and maybe getn1 or 2 photos but with Kevin he spends time with you and the kids, and we got all the photos we possibly want for Christmas and the experience was soooooo magical. Plus, he does this for a wonderful cause. So, what more could you ask for?

Last Christmas, our daughter Eva was nine years old and right on the edge of not believing in Santa anymore. That all changed when Kevin — a.k.a. Santa — made a personal visit to our home just before Christmas Eve.
